SITE AND FIELD ENTERPRISES LLC's (SAFE) corporate office is strategically located in the greater Houston Metropolitan area and was founded and incorporated in the State of Texas in 2006 by Mark E. Nelson, the CEO/civil engineer for the firm. SAFE has earned a stellar reputation of providing commercial, local, state and federal entities with reliable, cost-effective design and/or build services.

Our 10-person staff consists of highly qualified professionals in civil engineering and surveying. Our engineers are registered in Texas, Alabama, Florida, and Louisiana. Below is a list of professional services we specialize in, but not limited to the following:

Feasibility Studies – Support client's evaluation of options.

Site Investigation – Assist the design team in learning about the projected project site conditions.

Estimating – Develop preliminary budgets and help owner manage costs during design and construction.

Value Engineering (VE) – Facilitate evaluation of lifecycle cost, quality, durability, and maintainability of the design.

Constructability Analysis – Although examining complexity is part of VE, SAFE will take a proactive role in looking at the safety, schedule, and ease of construction are part of discussions during design.

Design review – At each phase of the design, SAFE produces a schedule, an estimate, and reviews comments that look specifically at construction-related and contractual issues. HELPING TO MINIMIZE CHANGES IN THE FIELD.

Scheduling – Assist client in confirming that the completion date can be met given the desired scope of work.

Long Lead Item Procurement – Identify items that must be bought early to arrive at the site in time for installation to meet schedule requirements.

Work Packages – SAFE will aid client’s development of work packages, after project delivery method is chosen, schedule completions are identified and confirmed and local practices regarding how work is accomplished is understood.
Management style: we utilize Six Sigma quality methodology in managing design projects as well as the Project Management Institutes methodology (PMI) to manage the triple constraints of COST,
